+ By Allen Meadows Jun-14, Issue #55, 90-92 points (Maison Camille Giroud Chassagne-Montrachet "Tête du Clos" 1er Cru White) Moderately strong reduction masks the fruit but there is even more size, weight, concentration and intensity to the big-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract, all wrapped in a solidly complex and lengthy finish. This is a distinctly broad-shouldered effort that is not particularly elegant but this should make for a very satisfying effort if allowed 5 to 7 years of cellar time. (Drink starting 2018)
