Summary

Rich nose full of ripe black cherry, wild strawberry even soy and bit of plum. There are signs of maturation already - Sous-bois, forest floor, earthy minerality, mushrooms. Mid palate is rich with lip smacking sense of black cherry. Finish is sweetish and long with earthy side. Good concentration here. Just acidity is on a low side, even given the fact Magnien usually produces wines of high acidity. It is still fresh but I’m not sure will this wine be long lived and if there is a sense to mature it much. I have enjoyed it due to its complexity. In a sweet spot now.
